Hua Shen joined Extreme Computing Research Center (ECRC) at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) as a postdoctoral fellow in 2016. He received B.Sc. (2008) from Department of Modern Mechanics at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and Ph.D. (2013) from Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering at Peking University (PKU). Before joining KAUST, he was a research associate of Department of Mechanical Engineering at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Research Interest

Hua Shen's research interest include Compressible Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), High Speed Flows, High Performance Scientific Computing, Computational Fluid Dynamic Algorithm, Chemical Reactive Flows and Two-Phase Compressible Flows.
