Hongxian Yi is conducting research toward a Ph.D. degree with the guidance of Professor Yehia Massoud at Innovative Technologies Laboratories (ITL).

Education and early career

Hongxian obtained his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Shandong University, China, and his Master's degree at KAUST. Before coming to KAUST, he worked as an Internship at Amazon Web Services, Inc., China. 

Scientific focus/Research interest

His scientific interests focus on applying novel artificial intelligence techniques to solve open problems based on the 3D point cloud.
