Education

Ayed M. Alrashdi received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (with first honors) from University of Hail, Hail, Saudi Arabia, in 2014, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, in 2016. He is a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working with Professor Tareq Al-Naffouri in the Information System Lab (ISL). He is also a lecturer in the University of Hail since 2014.

Research Interests

Ayed Alrashdi's research interests are in the areas of statistical signal processing, high-dimensional statistics, compressed sensing, and mathematical optimization.

Awards and Distinctions

Prince Saud Bin Abdulmuhsin Award for ranking first on the graduating class at University of Hail in 2014.
