Praveen Kumar Singya is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) at Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Science and Engineering division, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working with Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini.

Education and Early Career

Praveen Kumar Singya received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur, India, in 2012, and the M.Tech. degree in Communication System Engineering from VNIT Nagpur, India, in 2014. For the next one year, he was the Project Engineer in VNIT Nagpur till June 2015. He has completed his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, India in 2019. His research interests include the design and the performance analysis of various cooperative networks over different fading channels. 
Before joining KAUST in March 2020, he worked as a Research Associate at IIT Indore, India during Dec. 2019 to Feb. 2020.

Scientific Interest 

Interested in designing and performance analysis of various cooperative relay networks over different fading channels considering various practical constraints. Also interested in study and examine the performance of various signal constellations used in present and future wireless communication standards.

Honors and Awards

Best paper award for “Performance analysis of OFDM based multiple relay cooperative AF system with relay selection and nonlinear power amplifier”, in IEEE ANTS, 2017, held at Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bengaluru, India.
