Multi-Scale Waveform Modeling and Inversion Workshop

Start Date: March 22, 2015
End Date: March 24, 2015

The International workshop on Multi-scale Waveform Modeling and Inversion will be held at KAUST from March 22 to 24, 2015.  The goal of this work shop is to discuss the scientific developments, challenges and difficulties in multiscale waveform modeling, simulation and inversion in important industrial applications ranging from seismic imaging and inversion to metamaterial properties to medical tomography. The synergy among these applications will allow transferring the knowledge from one area to another. The workshop will cover both fundamental questions on modeling and simulations as well as the applications of wave propagation.

The workshop will gather the world’s leading researchers and creative young scholars from academia and industry to exchange ideas and to foster a collaborative framework for fundamental and applied research.
