Overview
Advances in artificial intelligence are creating new opportunities across microwave and millimeter-wave systems, from biomedical sensing and imaging to wearable radio-frequency technologies and integrated sensing and communication.
The KAUST Workshop on AI-Enabled Microwave Sensing and Communication will convene researchers from microwave engineering, machine learning, biomedical engineering and related fields to examine developments across these areas and discuss the scientific challenges that could shape future research.
Held at KAUST in conjunction with the IEEE International Microwave and Antenna Symposium (IMAS 2026), the one-day workshop will feature invited talks, scientific discussions, and a student and postdoctoral poster session. It will create opportunities for researchers from KAUST, Saudi Arabia and the international microwave community to exchange ideas, identify shared research questions and develop new collaborations.
The workshop aims to translate scientific exchange into new collaborations, joint research opportunities and talent connections that support Saudi Vision 2030 priorities in health and artificial intelligence.

Registration is now open for the KAUST Workshop on AI-Enabled Microwave Sensing and Communication.
Call for ePosters
Graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are invited to present their work during the workshop poster session.
Submissions are welcome across microwave and millimeter-wave sensing, biomedical applications, machine learning, RF systems, integrated sensing and communication, and related interdisciplinary topics. Selected participants will engage directly with faculty, invited speakers, and international peers.
