Recently, massive educational data (e.g., student exercising records) have been accumulated, providing access to the development of data-driven intelligent education. However, existing models are difficult to accurately analyze the academic level of students and extract meaningful features of exercises from the massive, sparse and noisy student learning data, and meanwhile, they consider less about the personalized demands of both students and teachers. Therefore, the results of the analysis could not be directly applied in some real-world scenarios, such as helping students' learning or improve teachers' teaching. To address these problems, we developed a series of research for intelligent education combined with both data mining technology and education domain knowledge, aiming to improve students' academic level and assist teachers' teaching. Our works have been published on top conferences, such as IJCAI, AAAI, and CIKM, and also applied in "Zhixue.com", an online learning system by iFLYTEK.
