ToRCH framework for describing robots


There are various types of robots with different characteristics and performance. A detailed cross-domain classification is required to identify them from each other. The ToRCH framework, Towards Robot Characterization, is developed to do so. It is simple yet comprehensive enough to capture the robot’s performance accurately. This workshop would cover ToRCH and how it is capable of categorising robots capabilities into measurable levels and how it would identify robots according to their characteristics. 

Brief Biography

Assistant Prof. in the Department of computer science and artificial intelligent in Jeddah university. Received PhD in robotics from Sheffield University and earned two master degree, the first master is in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University, USA and the second master is in Software systems and internet technology, UK.
