Dr. Arnab Hazra is a postdoctoral fellow in the Extreme Statistics Research Group of Prof. Raphaël Huser, doing research on spatial extremes with environmental applications and bayesian statistics.

Education and early career

Arnab Hazra received his Ph.D. in Statistics from North Carolina State University, United States. His Ph.D. advisors were Professors Brian J. Reich and Ana-Maria Staicu. He joined KAUST in February 2019.

Areas of expertise and current scientific interests

Dr. Hazra's research interests focus on spatial extremes with environmental applications and Bayesian statistics.
