Research interests and present research project.
Al Farhan's research work center around optimizing scientific applications, in particular, unstructured (irregular) computations, on emerging, energy-austere High-Performance Computing (HPC) architectures.
Why did you choose your field of research?
I am interested in applying my computer science skills to tackle a scientific computing research problem that emerges from natural science.
Why KAUST?
I am interested in Professor Keyes research work, and therefore, I choose KAUST to work with him on his field of research.
