Amit Kumar Goyal is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Innovative Technologies Laboratory (ITL) under the supervision of Professor Yehia Massoud in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Amit received his Ph.D. in Engineering Science from Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Rajasthan. He was one of the awardees of the prestigious Quick Hire Fellowship in 2012 and Senior Research Fellowship in 2015, funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR, Govt of India).

Research Interests

Amit's field of expertise covers a broad spectrum in Optics and Photonics including Photonic Crystals Based Devices, Hand-held Photonic Sensors for Bio-medical Applications, Surface Wave (BSW/SPR) Guiding and Sensing, and Passive Radiative Cooling.
