I find both statistics and the brain very interesting. Biostatistics combines these things together.

Bartlomiej Mulewicz is a Ph.D. candidate in Statistics at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), studying under the supervision of Professor Hernando Ombao in his research group.

Education and Early Career

Bartlomiej Mulewicz has finished AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Poland. He has bachelor degree of Applied Mathematics and Master's degree in Computational and Insurance Mathematics.

Research Interest

His main areas of research are time series analysis, probability, machine learning, and deep learning. Before joining KAUST he was using deep neural networks to predict failures of critical assets in industrial companies.

Bronze medal in the team competition "Internet-Olympiad in Mathematics" organized by Ariel University
