Education and Early Career

- Jiao Wu received the M.S. degree in electronics and communication engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China, in 2018 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea, in 2023. 

- She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Computer Electrical and Mathematical Sciences and Engineering Division (CEMSE), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working with Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL). 

Scientific Interest

Her research interests include signal processing, optimization, and deep learning techniques for 5G and 6G wireless communications.  Her recent research focuses on reconfigurable intelligent surface-assisted wireless communications, wideband terahertz communications, and near-field massive MIMO systems.
