Biography

Barbora Kozlikova is an Associate Professor at the Masaryk University in Brno, where she is heading VisitLab: the visualization group specializing in diverse topics in visualization and its connections to machine learning and virtual reality.

Her research interests are in scientific visualization and visual analysis, with the main focus on biochemistry and biology, but also criminal investigation, geography, and urban data. She is also interested in computational geometry and computer graphics, which is her original background.

In 2018, she served as the general chair of EuroVis and in 2019, she organized the EG VCBM workshop, where she was acting also as a full paper co-chair. She is a member of the EuroVis Steering Committee and serves as the IPC member of main visualization conferences.
