Research Interests
Oliver's research focuses on spatio-temporal features of hydrological fluxes at the Earth's surface, using this knowledge to understand the associated implications for water resources management, especially for arid lands. These measurements are obtained from a variety of Earth Observing Satellites launched by NASA, ESA and other space agencies around the world. Estimates from Land Surface Models are analyzed along with satellite observations, which enable to improve the models.
