Our first Ph.D. graduate, Dr. Abdulhakim A Qahtan, recently joined Utrecht University, The Netherlands, as an assistant professor in computer science. Dr. Qahtan completed and defended his Ph.D. dissertation entitled " Efficient Estimation of Dynamic Density Function with Applications in Streaming Data" in our MINE Lab in May 2016. He joined our MINE lab as a Ph.D. student in 2011. Prior to joining Utrecht, he was a postdoctoral researcher at QCRI in Doha, Qatar. Congrats to Hakim!
