Shuai has won an Academic Excellence Award (AEA) worth $6000 US dollars. The award was based on his excellent performance on research. Only the top 15% who satisfy the minimum criteria have the opportunity to win the award. As a first-year Ph.D. student, Shuai has published two papers in the leading conferences.
