Sani Mukhtar is a visiting student in KAUST Photonics Lab as a part of the KAUST-KFUPM Initiative (KKI) program. He is currently a full-time master student in Electrical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran Saudi Arabia. He received his Bsc. in Electrical and Control Engineering from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Alexandria Egypt (Excellence with honor) in 2016. He did his compulsory one-year national service in Lagos State, Nigeria where he worked with OncenOut Limited. He also served as an assistant lecturer in Jigawa State Polytechnic Dutse, Jigawa State Nigeria.
Research Interests
Sani's research interests include Photonics, Optoelectronics, Visible light communication, and Underwater wireless optical communication.
