Congratulations to Daniela for her new position as Lecturer in Statistics at the University of Glasgow

"As John Tukey once said, the best thing about being a statistician is that you get to play in everyone’s backyard. In that line, statistics of extremes offers a wide range of applications. I’m now diving into environmental, geological, and ecological applications, but I’m more than happy to explore new areas." After her postdoc at KAUST, Daniela moved to the University of Glasgow, UK, to embark on an academic career. She started as a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor in the US system) of Statistics in June 2019
