Zhongwei Zhang obtained his Master degree in pure mathematics in 2018 from the Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany. His research interests include Extreme Value Theory and its applications, stochastic partial differential equations, graphical models. After his Ph.D. at KAUST, Zhongwei will be going to the University of Geneva, Switzerland, for a postdoctoral position under the supervision of Prof. Sebastian Engelke, due to start in January 2023.
