Mathematical concepts and techniques are used in virtually all fields of science and engineering. Mathematics can enable exciting new discoveries and techniques. The Applied Mathematics Virtual Fall School focuses on Modelling and Simulation of Biological Systems.
The AMFS 2021 school is a 10-14 days online school that introduce models and algorithms and demonstrates the effect of advanced mathematical modeling and simulation approaches in practical problems from the life sciences. It will present examples as paradigms for the process of modeling and simulation in biosciences.
Professor Gabriel Wittum is a Professor of Applied Mathematics and Computational Science (AMCS) and a member of the Extreme Computing Research Center (ECRC) at KAUST, Saudi Arabia.
