Matej Mlejnek is a Research Scientist in the High Performance Visualization Group (HPV) working with Professor Markus Hadwiger at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
Education and Early Career
He obtained his bachelor degree in Automation and Control from Slovak University of Technology in Slovakia in1999. After that, he joined Vienna University of Technology in Austria and received both his master (2003) and doctoral (2006) degrees in Computer Science.
Research Interest
Matej is interested in scientific visualization.

Matej Mlejnek has many publications in his research interest. One of the papers is titled “Time-Dependent Flow seen through Approximate Observer Killing Fields” co-authored by Markus Hadwiger, Matej Mlejnek, Thomas Theusl and Peter Rautek.
