The interplay between geometry and physical simulation fascinates me a lot !

Daoming Liu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working with Professor Helmut Pottmann at the Visual Computing Center (VCC) in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

Education and Early Career

Daoming Liu obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). During his Ph.D., he spent one year at TUDelft as a visiting doctoral student. Before joining VCC/KAUST, he worked at ShanghaiTech University as a Research Assistant Professor.

Research Interest

Daoming Liu’s research was focused on physical simulation, geometric computing and their applications in computer graphics, flow visualization, computational design and fabrication. His previous work were mainly about fluid phenomena and thin solid structures.
