Attia is a senior computer science student at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Last summer, he joined Silicon Valley as a software engineer intern at one of the startups, adam.ai. Over the past year, he was performing undergraduate research in the area of process mining.

He joined KAUST as a visiting student in the summer of 2023, to work with the SeRBER research group led by Prof. Marc Dacier.
