Rising Stars in AI Symposium 2026
KAUST Campus
KAUST convenes rising AI researchers to share advances and explore new directions.
Overview
Advancing AI Research Through Emerging Talent
Artificial intelligence continues to redefine how discovery, innovation and problem-solving unfold across the world. As the field evolves, so does the importance of supporting researchers who are shaping its next chapters.
KAUST established the Rising Stars in AI Symposium as part of its commitment to advancing AI research and strengthening the pipeline of emerging talent nationally and globally. Over the past four years, the Symposium has grown into a key platform for early-career researchers to present notable work, exchange ideas and contribute to a dynamic AI research ecosystem. The 2026 edition, taking place from 9 to 11 February at KAUST, continues this effort by creating opportunities for rising researchers to share new directions, explore emerging challenges and engage with peers across the AI community.
Led and organized by KAUST Center of Excellence for Generative AI, the Symposium provides a rigorous environment for discussing advances across machine learning, computer vision, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, optimization and related areas.
Call for Poster Presentations
Researchers at KAUST and across Saudi Arabia are invited to submit recently published AI work for presentation during the Symposium’s poster sessions. Selected participants will present during the designated session. External presenters are responsible for their own travel.
