Overview
The Saudi HPC/AI Conference 2026 will take place at KAUST from October 26–28, bringing together researchers, scientists, technology experts, industry leaders and members of the wider computing and innovation community to explore how high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) are supporting research, discovery and innovation in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
With the rapid growth of data-intensive science, AI-driven research and advanced computing, the conference will provide a platform for participants to exchange ideas, share research and experiences, showcase emerging technologies, and build new collaborations across academia, industry and the broader innovation ecosystem.
Theme
The conference is organized under the theme “The Role of Computing in Accelerating Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI)” and aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
The program will explore the role of HPC and AI across the four strategic RDI pillars:
- Health and Wellness
- Sustainable Environment and Supply of Essential Needs
- Energy and Industrial Leadership
- Economies of the Future
The three-day conference will bring together researchers, industry representatives and innovators to discuss the role of advanced computing and AI in supporting research, development and innovation across these areas.
