Brief Biography
Jason Roos has more than 25 years of experience managing information systems and technology in the defense, healthcare, education, and high tech industries in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Jason joined KAUST after serving as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at City of Hope National Medical and Cancer Research Center in Los Angeles, California, and prior to that as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Stanford Health Care at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. His formal education includes a postgraduate fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital in Healthcare Administration, an MBA from Texas A&M University, a BA from the University of Houston, and a diploma from the Defense Language Institute's school of Arabic in Monterey, California.
