In this talk, Professor Pramod Bhatotia will give an overview of systems research at TU Munich. He will cover his teaching and ongoing research projects. And will conclude the talk with a brief overview of his ERC project.
Brief Biography
Bhatotia is a Full Professor (W3) and Head of the Chair of Distributed Systems and Operating Systems in the Department of Computer Science as part of the School of Computation, Information, and Technology (CIT) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
He is also an Academic Co-Director of the TUM Venture Lab for Software/AI, a Board Professor at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), and a core member of the Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI), Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI), BMBF Center on 6G Life, Konrad Zuse School of Excellence in Reliable AI (relAI), and Munich Quantum Valley (MQV).
His research interests span distributed systems and operating systems. He enjoys building systems to solve practical problems. His primary focus is on building reliable, secure, and scalable systems.
