Sara is a final year MS/Engineering degree student within the Electronics Engineering department of Ecole Nationale Polytechnique, Algeria. She is currently carrying out her final year research internship in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology within EMANG as a Visiting Student on the topic of Epileptic Seizure Detection using Electroencephalography (EEG). Her current work involves Semi-Classical Signal Analysis (SCSA) and nonlinear features, data augmentation models and Machine-Learning classification approaches.
She carried out multiple internships on topics related to biomedical signal processing and control within the Center for Development of Advanced Technologies (CDTA), Algeria and Université Gustave Eiffel, France.
Sara's research interests mainly revolve in the area of neural and physiological signal processing, feature extraction and the use of Artificial Intelligence in hybrid approaches for the development of assistance and rehabilitation technologies.
