Education Profile:

Aasim received his Bachelor's Degree with Honors from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, India in 2021. In his undergraduate, Aasim worked on Non-linear System Identification through Adaptive Signal Processing and Bypassing obstacles using Waveforming in Ultrasound.
In the following year, he joined King Abdullah University of Science and Technology to work under the supervision of Professor Tareq Al-Naffouri. Previously, in 2020, Aasim worked during 3 months as a visiting student at KAUST, under the supervision of Professor Tareq Al-Naffouri, where he studied Adaptive Time Integration in Synthetic Adaptive Radar.

Research Interests:

Asim’s research interests include Signal and Image Processing, Machine Learning and  Wireless Communications.

Honors and Awards:

  • B. Tech with Honors in Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar.
  • Dean’s List Award for academic excellence in Fall 2019 and Spring 2021, IIT Gandhinagar.
