Education

Mohammed AlSharif received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering, with first honors, from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, KFUPM, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2012, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, KAUST, Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, in 2016, where he is currently working towards his Ph.D.

Research Interests

Mohammed AlSharif research interests are in indoor localization systems, hand gesture recognition systems, and underwater acoustic localization and communication.

Awards and Distinctions

  • Fourth place in Microsoft Indoor Localization Competition, Information Processing in Sensor Network Conference (IPSN), Pittsburgh, USA, in 2017.
  • Highest evaluation (S) in Saudi Aramco, in 2014.
  • Graduated as a first honor student from KFUPM, in 2012.
