Masterclass in Applied Nonlinear PDEs

Abstract

This talk explores connections between some Partial Differential Equations, Fourier Analysis, and real-life problems. At the end of the talk, we examine musical applications.

Brief Biography

Giuseppe Di Fazio got his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1992 under the supervision of Professor Filippo Chiarenza. He has been a Full Professor at the University of Catania since 2007. He works on regularity problems for Partial Differential Equations, integral operators on Morrey spaces, and Mean Field Games. He is one of the authors of the monograph “Morrey Spaces: Introduction and Applications to Integral Operators and PDEs”.
