Imran Shafique has been recognized for Exemplary Reviewer by IEEE Wireless Communications Letters

Imran Shafique Ansari has been recognized as an Exemplary Reviewer by IEEE Wireless Communications Letters (WCL) Editorial Board for 2014, receiving a Certificate of Appreciation for his service. This recognition was given to less than 3% of all IEEE WCL Reviewers in 2014. Imran's name will also be included in the list of IEEE WCL's Exemplary Reviewers on the Journal website (http://ieee-wcl.skku.edu) and the ComSoc Publications/WCL homepage (http://www.comsoc.org/wcl/reviewer-appreciation). 
 
Imran Shafique Ansari was born in India in 1987. He completed his B.S. in Computer Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in 2009 (with First Honors) and M.S. in Electrical Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2010. Currently, he is a PhD Candidate in Electrical Engineering at KAUST under a KAUST Fellowship Award. His research interests include, among others, Free-Space Optics (FSO), Channel Modeling, Relay/Multihop Communications and Diversity Reception Techniques. He is a member of IEEE and IET since 2007 and has served those societies in various capacities. He has been a reviewer for various IEEE/OSA journals and served as a TPC member in various conferences.
