Amal Aboulhassan was a Ph.D. student in Computer Science under the supervision of Professor Markus Hadwiger at the Visual Computing Center (VCC) in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). She is the founder of MaterialSolved startup located in Alexandria, Egypt. 

Education and Career

Amad received her Master degree in Computer Graphics from Alexandria University, Egypt in 2005. She joined KAUST and earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2017. She was a part of High Performance Visualization Research Group under the supervision of Professor Markus Hadwiger. Before joining KAUST, Amal was a Project Manager at Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
