Chun Hong Kang
About
Chun Hong Kang obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Prior to joining KAUST, he obtained his B.Eng. and M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. His current research focuses on the development of optoelectronics devices and systems for their eventual applications in optical-based sensing and wireless communication. He has over 50 authored/co-authored publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
Contributing to the scientific community, he also regularly served as the technical reviewer for various OSA, IEEE, AIP, ACS, IOP & Wiley's journals (e.g., Applied Physics Letters, IEEE Photonics Journal, Optics Express, Optics Letters, Optical Materials Express and Applied Optics). He is also a member of IEEE, SPIE, and OSA.
