Gaurav Agarwal is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics. He joined KAUST in Fall 2016 and his research focus is mainly on developing statistical models for dealing with the issues concerning the environment. He is advised by Prof. Ying Sun, who leads the Environmental Statistics group at KAUST. Bringing data to life, with statistics and programming excites him. Besides research, he likes to dance and workout.
Gaurav's research interests include Multivariate quantiles, Non-parametric statistics, Functional data analysis, and Spatial Statistics.
