Jiayao Zhang
About
Jiayao Zhang is a Computer Science Master's student in the MS/Ph.D. program under the supervision of Professor Dominik Michels at the Visual Computing Center (VCC) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia.
Education and Early Career
Jiayao completed her Bachelor's degree from the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. She was working with Prof. Chenqiang Gao on Event Detection and recognition topics.
She was a visiting student at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in China with Prof. Cewu Lu in the MVIG lab and also worked as a Research Assistant at Shanghai Tech University under the supervision of Prof. Fei Gao.
Research Interest
She focuses on principled computational methods targeting simulation tasks in the fields of scientific computing.
