Short Bio 

Ms. Myrto Galanopoulou is a Ph.D student in the AppliedPDE group of the Applied Mathematics and Computational Science program (AMCS) of CEMSE division at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia. She previously received a B.Sc and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics from University of Crete. Ms. Myrto is mainly interested in analysis of Partial Differential Equations with applications in fields as Continuum Physics or Mechanics, systems of nonlinear equations, evolutionary and hyperbolic type of equations and problems in Calculus of Variations. Currently, she is working on the problem of polyconvex thermoelasticity.
