About
Xiang Li is a Postdoc Researcher at the Visual Computing Center (VCC) in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) under the supervision of Professor Mohamed Elhoseiny in the Vision-CAIR Group.
Education and Work Experience
Xiang Li joined KAUST as a Postdoc Researcher in Dec 2022. Before that, he was a Postdoc Researcher at the Multimedia and Visual Computing Lab (MMVC) at NYU Tandon and NYU Abu Dhabi from Oct 2019. He received a Bachelor's degree in Remote Sensing Science and Technology from Wuhan University in 2014 and a Ph.D. in Cartography and Geography Information System (GIS) from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019.
Research Interests and Services
Dr. Li is interested in computer vision and deep learning, with a special focus on 3D vision. He is also interested in the intersection between computer vision and remote sensing data processing.
Dr. Li serves as a reviewer for many well-known journals in computer vision and remote sensing, such as TIP, TVCG, TEVC, TGRS, ISPRS J. P&RS, and IJGI, as well as conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, IROS, BMVC, and AAAI.
