Biography
Biswarup Mukherjee was a Postdoctoral Fellow during 2024–2025 at the CEMSE Division of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. Before that, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Alliance Sorbonne Université – University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC), France.
He holds a Ph.D. in Energy and Process Engineering from Université Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL), where his thesis focused on "Optimization Methods for Scheduling the Charge of Electric Vehicles and Planning their Charging Infrastructure."
Research Interests
His research focuses on applied optimization and machine learning techniques for energy systems, with particular emphasis on electric mobility and the operation of local energy markets.
