Education and Early Career
Motasem obtained his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University in Kuwait in 2018. He joined KAUST in 2019 and received his mater's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Honors and Awards
Motasem was awarded as the best student in the Electrical Engineering Department at Kuwait University for two consecutive years (2017-2018). He won the national debating competition and was awarded as one of the top 10 debaters in 2017. Motasem has also received the academic excellency award for the academic year 2021/2022.
