Stefanos Georgiadis
Stefanos Georgiadis is an applied mathematician with a background in the modeling and analysis of fluid systems using nonlinear partial differential equations.
Expertise and Interests
Stefanos Georgiadis is a Postdoctoral associate at New York University Abu Dhabi. He obtained his Ph.D. at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and at Vienna University of Technology, where his thesis was in modeling and analysis of multicomponent systems for gas mixtures. His research interests include nonlinear partial differential equations with applications in fluid mechanics and in particular existence, uniqueness and regularity of weak solutions, relaxation limits, and commutator techniques.
