Matteo Icardi worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Professor Raul F. Tempone's Stochastic Numerics Research Group (STOCHNUM) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

Research Interests

Matteo's main research interests include the multi-scale modeling and simulation of multiphase flows, flows in porous media, and non-equilibrium flows, by means of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), High-Performance Computing (HPC), stochastic and kinetic methods. He has worked also in the field of turbulent multiphase and reactive flows, Large Eddy Simulations (LES), Adaptive Mesh Refinement (AMR) and Inverse Problems.
