Peng Zhong is a Ph.D. student supervised by Prof. Raphaël Huser in the Statistics Program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. He received his B.Sc. degree in financial mathematics from the Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen, China, in 2017. His research interests include climate extremes, spatiotemporal statistics, high-dimensional inference, and computational statistics. After his PhD at KAUST, Peng will be going to the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, for a postdoctoral fellowship position under the joint supervision of Prof. Scott Sisson and Prof. Boris Beranger, due to start in January, 2023.
