Hesham Omran, a PhD student in Prof Khaled Salama's research group (Sensors Lab) won the the first phase of the 8th Annual International Microelectronics Olympiad of Armenia.

Hesham Omran, a Ph.D. student in Prof Khaled Salama's research group (Sensors Lab) won the first phase of the 8th Annual International Microelectronics Olympiad of Armenia. First stages of the Microelectronics Olympiad were held during April-May 2013 in each participant country. Hesham ranked first in Saudi Arabia and will fly to Armenia to attend the finals, which will be held in October.
