Anaas is a Ph.D. candidate in Statistics at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), studying under the supervision of Professor Hernando Ombao in his research group.

Education and Early Career

Anaas has a master's degree in Data Science and Engineering from the University of Rouen. Previously, he obtained an Engineer's degree from the National Institute for Applied Sciences Rouen, Normandy, France.

In the 2019 Spring, Anaas joining Professor Ombao's BIOSTATS research group, at KAUST, as a visiting student to finish his master thesis.

Research Interest

His research interests lie in fields such as high dimensional time series, dimension reduction, brain signals, time series prediction, classification, and manifold optimization.
