Education and Early Career:

Before joining KAUST, Haozhe Liu received his master's degree in Computer Science from Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China, in 2022.  In 2021-2022, Haozhe Liu was also a visiting student at the Norwegian Biometrics Laboratory (NBL), Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Gjøvik, Norway, and interned at Jarvis Lab, Tencent, Shenzhen, China. 

His recent research interests include deep generative models and reinforcement learning, and his long-term goal lies in making learnable systems reliable, responsible, and explainable.
