When it comes to Communication Systems and Networks, there are always newer
technologies to explore and many mysteries to solve. Indeed, it is an interesting field to pursue with promising research opportunities. KAUST combines outstanding professors and elite students on one hand, well-established labs and facilities on the other hand, which made it an excellent research environment.

Salah is an MS/Ph.D. student in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) under the supervision of Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

Education and Early Career

Salah obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Jordan in 2019. He was an Erasmus exchange student at Lund University in 2017-2018. During his undergraduate studies, he did research on V2V Communication technology and its applications in designing smart cities.

Research Interest

Salah's research interests include delay-tolerant networking (DTN), Long-range (LoRa) communications, and optical wireless communications.
