KAUST is a great place for doing a research- “scientists’ paradise“.
“Communication is the essence of life” and it is my pleasure to contribute to the development of such an essential field.

Ainur Zhaikhan received a Master student under supervision of Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini in the Communication Theory Lab, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and will start her Ph.D. in Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).

Education and Early Career

Ainur Zhaikhan completed a bachelor degree program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan in 2018. There she worked in Power electronics Research Lab with Nazarbayev University Associate Professor Alexander Ruderman. She was a participant of KAUST VSRP Photonics Summer Camp 2017. In 2017 she also had one month research experience in Power Electronics Lab in National Institute of Technology Karnataka in India under supervision of Professor Debashisha Jena.

Scientific Interest

Ainur's current research interest are related to network epidemics and stochastic geometry.

Honors and Awards
