Camellia Mouhammad is a PhD at Electrical and Computer (ECE), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working with Professor Mohamed Slim Alouini in the Communication Theory Laboratory (CTL).

 

Education and Early Career

Camellia Mouhammad studied Communication and Electronics Engineering and got her B.Sc. from Alexandria University, Egypt in 2017 with distinguished with honor degree (top 2%). In 2023, she received her M.Sc. from Alexandria University.

Before joining KAUST, since 2019 she has been working as a teaching assistant at the Electrical department, Alexandria University. She was also a research assistant at Virginia Tech (VT-MENA), SmartCI Research Center and Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST). She did an internship at Vodafone mobile operator and the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA). During 2020, she went to Klagenfurt University, Austria as an exchange student.

Scientific Interest 

Camellia Mouhammad is interested in Free-Space Optics (FSO), Visible-Light Communications (VLC), Optical Communications, Digital Signal Processing, MIMO and WDM.
